our bounty
Since we've been home I have been spending a lot of time weeding our overgrown mess called a garden. We've been harvesting and eating lots of things as well which is really satisfying. Brian's grandma loaned us her pressure cooker so I started canning beans for the first time--SO EXCITING!!

I made some pickles. Based on the recipe you tried. I tweaked it a little bit, and after two rounds I have a good one, I think.
I use a 6 cup container and here is as follows
I heat a half a cup of water to boiling. add 1 T of kosher salt and dissolve. add two whole garlic cloves while the water is hot. add 1/2 cup of white vinegar (a little less if you don't like it too vinegary). Then a BUNCH of dill and cucumbers then I add cold water to the top.
This produce is beautiful!
